WHAT WE DO

SERVICES

C & J Foundation offers women with children, women coming from prison, pregnant teens experiencing homelessness the resources to recover and rebuild a productive, stable life for themselves and their children through a residential setting. C & J Foundation serves women with children who are experiencing, or are at- risk of homelessness. Our program aims to equip residents with the necessary resources and services to guide them deeper along the path of self sufficiency. Our program provides job r

RESIDENTIAL APARTMENTS & HOMES

 We provide rent-free, low rent and utilities-free (applies to some) apartments and homes that accommodate the participant and up to 3 children. These transitional homes are furnished with donations from our generous community supporters. Participants use the items during their two-year program, then take the items with them after graduation to start their new life. PLEASE NOTE ROOMS ARE SHARED, IF YOU HAVE NO KIDS. 

PROGRAM CURRICULUM & SUPPORT

  

Participants attend bi-monthly classes over a 2-year period, taught by volunteer, community professionals on various sustainable subjects including financial management, physical, mental and spiritual health, parenting, employment skills, and Life skills. 

​​Our Program provides our women SUPPORT to successfully re-claim their lives and gain FAMILY STABILITY. Upon graduation, they will have sufficient skills to regain their independence.

CASE MANAGEMENT & ACCOUNTABILITY

  Participants meet weekly with a case manager to ensure their success in the program. These weekly case management meetings are designed to hold each woman to a strict routine of accountability with finances as well as their individual program that includes productive recommendations from their case manager to enhance their goal of reaching complete SELF-SUFFICIENCY. 

GRADUATION & PATHWAYS

 

​The PATHWAYS program lasts one full year after graduation

offering access to the bi-weekly classes with a flexible and reduced case management schedule to support and prepare them for independence. To become adjusted to adhering to financial housing responsibility, they begin to pay a $800 program fee and continue to save at a lower rate of 20% of their income.

GROUP HOMES- AT RISK YOUTH

 

​A group home for teens is a community-based residential facility that provides a structured and supervised living environment for teenagers, often those with behavioral or mental health challenges, or those in need of supportive care. It aims to be a stepping stone to independent living, offering therapeutic support, 24-hour supervision, and educational or vocational opportunities 

"YOU HAVE TO FIGHT THROUGH SOME BAD DAYS, TO EARN THE BEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE" Our program requires 100% participation by the resident in our program curriculum. While participating, each resident will enjoy comprehensive courses and accountability to a personalized plan with a case manager to ensure their success in the program.

 Participants must work a 40 hour week job or willing and able work.

 Participants must attend 26 classes over a 2-year period to complete the program. These classes are held the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
